CAPRI
Capri is a small, beautiful island in the Gulf of Naples in Italy, a mere hour by boat from Sorrento. Bustling with myriads of day tourists during the day the locals and guests who stay over have the famous piazza Umberto I to themselves in the evenings and can enjoy a leisurely stroll down to the enchanted harbour - as did Clark Gable and Sophia Loren in the 1960ies movie It Started In Naples. The Blue Grotto and the nearby Hotel Weber Ambassador are but two of many attractions on this romantic island. Our model CAPRI with its circonia-studded mother-of-pearl dial and the circonias on the case is a humble homage to the iridescent Mediterranean Sea surrounding Capri.
